Greater China
Greater China Volo eSIM — online the moment you land 🀄
Install before you fly, scan one QR code, and land already connected on fast 5G / 4G data. No airport SIM queue, no roaming bill.
📍 Where it works
✅ Covers: mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau.
🚫 Not included: Taiwan (choose the Taiwan or Global plan for that).
🔓 No VPN needed in mainland China — Google, Gmail, WhatsApp and Instagram work normally. Your data routes through an international roaming IP, so you skip the Great Firewall.
📊 Choose your plan
Pick the data bundle and validity that match your trip — from a light 1 GB top-up to heavy 50 GB+ plans. Every plan is data-only, priced upfront, with nothing to pay on arrival.
♾️ Daily plans (Data per day)
Prefer not to count gigabytes? Switch Package type to Data per day and pick a daily allowance of 1GB, 3GB or 10GB. You get that much full-speed data each day; past it, speed reduces to roughly 128–512Kbps until the next-day reset. Any trip length from 3 to 30 days.

❓ Frequently asked questions
Will my phone work with this eSIM?
Most phones released from 2018 onward support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. On iPhone, open Settings › General › About and look for an EID number; if it’s there, you’re ready.
When does my plan start?
The validity period counts down once the eSIM first connects to a network in any covered area — mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau. Installing days ahead doesn’t start the clock; if you want your days to begin at a particular stop, switch the Volo line on only once you get there.
Can I keep my home number?
Yes. This is a data-only eSIM that runs as a second line beside your home SIM, so calls and texts on your usual number still come through.
Can I share data over hotspot?
Yes — tether your laptop, tablet or a travel companion’s phone.
Running low on data?
Just buy another Volo plan and install it. Quick, and you stay connected.
Do I need a VPN?
No. Your data routes through an international roaming IP, so Google, WhatsApp and Instagram work without one.
What does “Data per day” mean?
Each day you get a fixed full-speed allowance. After that, speed reduces to roughly 128–512Kbps for the rest of the day, refreshing every 24 hours. The day count starts when the eSIM first connects.
