❓ Frequently asked questions
Will my phone work with this eSIM?
Most phones released from 2018 onward support eSIM and are carrier-unlocked. On iPhone, open Settings › General › About and look for an EID number; if it’s there, you’re ready.
When does my plan start?
The validity period counts down once the eSIM first connects to a network in any of the covered countries — and this plan covers Hong Kong, so if you’re starting your trip there, keep the Volo line switched off until you land where you want your days to begin. Installing days ahead doesn’t start the clock.
Can I keep my home number?
Yes. This is a data-only eSIM that runs as a second line beside your home SIM, so calls and texts on your usual number still come through.
Can I share data over hotspot?
Yes — tether your laptop, tablet or a travel companion’s phone.
